Inspired by other entrepreneurs who found a better way to get the job done, Melissa Thomas-Dubois founded MarketZing in 2004 as a marketing/PR firm that specializes in brand development, marketing communications, media relations, and web content. Notice we did not say full-service, because our greatest tenet is that we do not pretend to be all things to all people.
Our talented team has years of experience in a variety of business environments, meaning you get bandwidth and best practices. We are nimble, responsive and take pride in honestly delivering what we promise. And we promise only what we can deliver.
We work backwards from your end goals and then create the objectives that will make them a reality. When you achieve your goals, we achieve our goals.
We like making a difference—at your company and in the community. We focus the bulk of our pro bono time to educational organizations because we think learning should start early and never stop.

Melissa is a marketing veteran, beginning her career in the non-profit sector in Detroit. She develops strategic-level, results-oriented marketing and PR campaigns for clients in industries from healthcare to technology and non-profits.
A former Vice President of Marketing for CompBenefits, a mid-sized regional insurance carrier, she understands the demands of creating results with a budget and timeline. Her background in sales gives her an appreciation for the close relationship that sales and marketing have in every organization.
She earned her master’s with honors from the University of Detroit, where she honed her writing skills. She also an award-winning creative writer. A mild gearhead, Melissa enjoys chasing her three sons and spending time restoring old English cars with her husband.

Well-rounded and thorough, Dana is a research expert that loves to teach with her writing talent. With extensive training in education and language arts, Dana now focuses on creating great content. She is an award-winning creative writer as well -- Dana hasn’t stopped writing since she learned how! She earned her BA from Texas Christian University. Originally from Texas, Dana now lives in Georgia with her husband, children and an occasionally grumpy tuxedo cat.
